Since my youth, I have pursued a career in art and later in the restoration of paintings. My studies in one of Florence Italy's finest Art Institutes, the Palazzo Spinelli, gave me a leading edge in my knowledge and skills through the restoration of Renaissance paintings and frescos.
Prior to my studies in Italy, I was employed in the area of conservation with the Glenbow Museum. I apprenticed with a restoration expert and later developed my own business in Calgary, Alberta. My educational background, includes studies at the Alberta College of Art and the University of Calgary. Overall, I have gained over 27 years of experience in the restoration field.
Since relocating to Vancouver, I have worked on various projects with fellow conservators, the Vancouver Museum and with the Vancouver Art Gallery. I belong to organizations including The Pacific Conservation Group and The Canadian Association for Conservation.
The location of my business is set in the picturesque seaside village of Dundarave in West Vancouver.
